Many people in London are not aware of how close they are to race events. The British Horseracing Association wanted to promote that there are plenty of racecourses within easy reach of the Capital.

This is when the competition really gets started as the winners take to the streets of London for the very last time, joined by the winner from the Wild Card and Regional Creative Challenge. Hi! I like your srticle and I would like very much to read some more information on this issue. Will you post some more?

I don't think the people are painted on, it's just so you get the idea straight away, and I can always see people on the top deck of buses so don't understand what that Neill is on about!!
Neill | 29 June 2009
Would the extra window vinyls of the 'grannies' be allowed? ? afterall this is a T-side competition not a vehicle wrap comp... and because of the obvious window tinting of the top deck, any real people sitting in the seats wouldn't show through enough to make the joke work, they would be lost in darkness. Pedantic, yes... petty, maybe... but everyone else is sticking to the same rules. Nice idea, badly thought through.

This is a competition for the best creative ad not the best charity. I have voted for SOUK's ad because in my opinion it is the most impactful and visually effective. It's a shame that charities are getting all the sympathy votes. I'm not saying that the charities aren't fighting for a great cause but that shouldn't cloud what the competition is about.

The adv. on the bus seems to you to be for competition and nothing else but when you discover the impact of mines and UXO on thousands of people and animals, you realize that there is a need to vote to fight that nightmare. Your vote destroys hundreds of mines, what are you waiting for, vote today, ??. vote now.

The use of the extra pics on the top row are inventive and eye-catching! Well done!

I think this is a fab idea! Thought the way the grannies sitting on the horses was funny! It def promotes the fact that racecourses are closer than you think!
tess | 16 June 2009
This is great. I wouldn't mind waiting for the bus.
Sarah | 15 June 2009
What a good idea- it made me laugh out loud! Wel done guys!
Danielle | 15 June 2009
I love this ad! Think it's a top idea- very effective!

As a regular attender of race meetings and seeing attendances dwindle in recent yeasrs, I think this an excellent advert. Hope it works to encourage more people to attend.
Congrats to Souk.

Is that HM the Queen sat at the front? she loves horse racing and lives in London, neigh surely not!
Steve | 10 June 2009
Well this ad is certainly riding to a place on the winners podium. Neigh-ver mind to the rest!
Kat | 08 June 2009
Brilliant ad, so effective!!
Nobby | 08 June 2009
I should imagine that the creative team had many hurdles to overcome in getting this agreed by the client and no doubt were reigned in. Were they up furlong? ...It should win by a short head.

Best ad on here by a mile! It's the only one that uses the media in a clever and effective way. Buses aren't static so you need something that draws you in quickly which this ones does. Plus it makes you laugh so a definite winner for me!!
David.. | 03 June 2009
This one is class, probably the only one that actually made me laugh, which is the sign of a good advert! I laughed so much it made me 'horse'..
Ryan | 02 June 2009
I think this one is great, I lol'd at the Shreddies-style grannies :) I think it shows more initiative than a lot of the other entries! plus - its fun, well done
Georgina | 01 June 2009
Wow, I love it. I think the Designer did a great job!
Edward | 01 June 2009
Great use of the media.
Christine | 30 May 2009
what a great idea, the picture on the side of the bus made me laugh, it could be anybody sat there.
